Shelter for the Homeless in Oxford

Churches in Oxford are about to join forces to offer emergency night shelter accommodation for the homeless in Oxford this winter. It is being run over seven nights a week, from January 2018 through to March.  A good night’s sleep and breakfast for up to ten guests will be offered each night, during the cold months from January to March 31st. Seven churches will take it in turns each week to open their doors at 10.00 pm. Wesley Mem's turn will be Sunday nights in this pilot project.

The cost for the first year, including set up, is estimated at £30,000. That’s approximately £30 a night for one bed. We are looking for volunteers:  email This email address is being protected from spambots.
